Just got back from an awesome weekend at the Breede River canoe marathon, but more about that later. Staying with us for the weekend was Sean Rice fresh back from his US trip, and I realized I had not written about his excellent 2nd place to Dawid Mocke  in Chicago last weekend.
By the sounds of it the weather again intervened and the course was changed to an out and back race, downwind first and then back into the wind for the return leg.
Sean was in third at the turn, then if I had to back anyone into the wind, Sean would be right up there and he did not disappoint  powering up to 2nd.
He was by far the youngest racer, and chatting to him he say's he has  learn't  stax on the trip and if he can stay focused the sky is the limit for him.
