What a great paddle, headed out from Fish Hoek this morning witha 15 to 20 Knot North Westerly behind us and the runs building all the way to the turn at Smitswinkel Bay. Hard paddle back into the wind via Millers Point and Simons Town Harbour. Congrats to all who finished, cut off time 3 hrs 30min......see you on the 18th of december for the real deal.

East London - The country’s top surfski paddlers will
converge on East London this weekend at the same time as a frontal system that
promises to deliver classic conditions for the KIA SA Surfski Championship races
on the weekend.
With the race forming part of the Eastern and Western

Hout Bay - Dawid Mockè bagged his second victory in the Discovery Sunglass Hut
summer surfski series’ fourth race held in the balmiest hot and windless
conditions, raced from Hout Bay to Camps Bay on Sunday.
He
outpaddled Tom Schilperoort and Sean Rice, relegating them to the minor
podium places, winning by a comfortable 36 seconds margin over a flat 18km ocean
course.

Fish Hoek -In quite the most extreme wind conditions
ever experienced since the start of local surfski series racing in 1998, Dawid
Mockè posted his maiden victory in the 2010 Discovery Sunglass Hut Surfski
series, mastering the gale force winds and overcoming a strong field to clinch
the title over a course shortened by the ferocious weather
