Cape point Training Week 12

Well after Saturday everybody should have qualified, The last three weeks should be spent honing those surf skills, spending as much time on the Sea as possible, millers runs, lighthouse paddles etc, really working on those sea legs.

Yesterdays qualifier was a good honest affair, no where to hide if you were not fit and what a turn out, over 100 paddlers took on the course, with over 100 qualifying, having to organize the qualifier did not allow me to do the distance I needed to do yesterday s...

Cape Point Qualifier

What a great qualifier, last night at the Sea Dog Series surfskis were blowing down the beach at a million miles an hour and big waves breaking a long way out, this morning the wind died the sea flattened and it was a great day to hold the main Cape point qualifier.The course was from Fish Hoek through Simons Town Harbour around the rocks at Partridge point and back to Fish Hoek an honest qualifier if ever there was one.
